Welcome to new vet Alana

Many of you may already have met Alana out and about with us on calls whilst she was a vet student and we are pleased to welcome Alana to the practice after graduating from Nottingham University.

Client Evening

We wish to thank Pfizer for sponsoring our client evening on 'Equine Infectious Disease'. The evening held at Cuddington and Sandiway village hall was a great success and we wish to thank Laurie May from Pfizer animal health for all her help in organising the event. We are looking to organise more evenings such as this this one as it is a great opportunity to discuss current equine topics. Strangles Vaccine

Intervet/Schering Plough are have re-introduced the Equilis Strep E vaccine for strangles in horses. It is to now available and is currently the only vaccine available against strangles. For more information about strangles and the Equilis Strep E vaccine visit www.equine-strangles.co.uk.

Prascend Equine Pergolide

Boehringer Ingelheim have released a product called Prascend which is pergolide specifically licensed for equine use in the treatment of Equine Cushing's Syndrome.
